Seen at World Maker Faire 2014 – Maker Jeffrey Moore

Anibot-Jeffrey Moore

We met Maker, Jeffrey Moore, at last weekend’s World Maker Faire in Queens, New York. We loved hearing that  Jeffrey is teaching himself about robotics AND 3D printing through his Anibot project which he was showing off for visitors to the Faire. Says Jeffrey, “Anibots are a line of animal inspired Arduino controlled open sourced robitc platforms that we are developing.” The different designs are inspired by two, four and six-legged animals with optimal flexibility in mind. Shown here is a four-legged model that Jeffrey is currently working on with 3D printed parts. Stay tuned for more coverage of World Maker Faire 2014 in an upcoming issue of Robot!

  1. Wow, that looks really cool. Can’t wait to hear more about the programming, and maybe see some videos of an Anibot in action.
