Want to use all of your Lego sensors and motors with an Arduino? The EVShield makes it easy.

The board pops on top of any Arduino Uno, Duemilanove, or Leonard, to let roboticists take advantage of all of their easy-to-connect Lego EV3 /NXT sensors and motors, and program them using the Arduino IDE. The shield even has three programmable buttons, and three multicolored LEDs of its own.

The EVShield can also be used in tandem with other shields, as it only uses the I2C port on the Arduino and other shields can be mounted on top.

“Four Lego sensor ports support all EV3 sensor and mostly all third-party and NXT sensors,” reads the EVShield Kickstarter page. “Additional I2C digital sensor can be easily expanded using I2C splitters.”

Several Kickstarter packages are available, including classroom packs.
