After a highly successful round of crowdsourcing last May, the GoPiGo is now available on preorder.

The open-source robot is designed for the Raspberry Pi platform. The basic kit ($84.99) includes a durable body, motors, controls, and a power supply that will keep your robot running for 30 minutes at a time. It comes pre-wired — no soldering required. All it takes is a screwdriver to put the whole thing together. Add batteries, your Raspberry Pi, and code! (Scratch and Python programming examples are available on the GoPiGo Website.)

Accessories, including an ultrasonic sensor and Raspberry Pi camera, can also be purchased from the Website.
