Lem Fugitt at Robots Dreamshas uncovered what he is calling a strong rumor regarding thehackability of Takara/Tomy's i-SOBOT robot. It appears thatthe initialproduction runs of the 6 1/2 inch tall fully articulated bipedal robotmay have flashable ROMs. Since ROMs usually store interesting bits suchas sounds and potentially even more interesting data items, this opensup the door for hackers to alter the i-SOBOT's functionality.
