OMG. I can't believe this. This semi-online article is killing me. Your going to make me wait another month before I can read the whole thing!!! Since I found your mag Issue number 1 and I spent all my money on vex (R.I.P radioshack sales). I have DREAMED of this day. I Still need more tools and a bigger budget. But I first started with need a way to make my vex last longer than 15 mins. My thought was I was going to use a small Rc plane engine and build a custom alternator. But that never materialized. Work has been pretty busy the past year so havn't had much time. I'm dying to know more about this creation. I'm hoping the article will talk about the controller. how he uses the throttle to help with power demand. Example being theres no reason for it to be wide open when power is not in use. How did he come to use of the smaller battery? What are the chances of putting a larger battery and a self starting for complete autonomous? GAH, YOUR KILLING ME!!! I'll go sit in the corner and twitch for the next 36 days.
