I'm currently using a 24v DC motor (windshield wiper type) and would like to use a Servo. Problem is I need a good deal of torque and must be able to turn at least 180 in each direction. Possible? This motor is being used to swivel half the robot back and forth. Weight is probably around 75lbs.
Thanks,
Darrell
I'm not sure how you intend to use, But I had success using a futaba servo, with two microswitches set up in an h bridge to run a 12 volt power window motror to turn a head...

Hmmmm. That may work. Could you supply the model number of that futuba so I take a look at it? I'll be using an OOPic for control and opto sensors for positioning unless using the Servo offers an easier way to determine position. I'm still learning about servo motors.
