Hi all

I am a newbie on Bioloid, a week ago I have received my Comprehensive Kit and I have playing with several examples.
Into the forums I have seen many guys who goes directly to build the last model in the learning scale, I mean the 18DOF humanoid...I want to share with you that my modest Walking Android has given to me a wonderful learning platform and I plan to stay on it for a week or so, testing and trying new motions and behaviors changes.

...I have learned the use of Motion Editor and despite the unsual GUI, the program offers a true solution for the syncro movement of several motors at the same time...very clever in fact in my personal opinion.

I have implemented a new walking motion page - a little more elegant - and also a new turn motion page, more efficient than the original motion page.

Of course, I had implemented some changes into the original Behavior program to access those new motion pages.

In short, very instructive and exciting...
Best regards to newbies ( as me) and experts (the rest of us)

Hi Merlin,

Welcome to the group. Sounds like you've gotten a great start to your Comprehensive kit.

I'm always interested in new gaits or motions, any chance of posting a couple of videos here or on your site?

I wasn't able to find anything about what you've done with the Bioloid on your site, did I miss something?

Harry

Hi Harry
In fact, this is my first post on this forum so you will not fin anything asbout me on the site before.

I received my Bioloid a couple of weeks ago and I have dedicated a few hours knowing the hardware and software. My past experience in robots is in Basic Stamp area, wich I have to say is quite different from Bioloid. In my site you can find some examples of my BS based robots. Have to prevent the site is enterely in spanish, so the one language people maybe will find a little hard to understand my brilliants texts about robotics....(joking,please...)

This weekend I will record some movies and I will upload to my site or, if you have any place here, to this forum directly. I hope you can find something interesting on this very basic experiments I am doing.

Thatīs all for now, I expect to share with all the forum my future experiences.
Regards to all

That's great Merlin, looking forward to seeing them. If they are less than 10 Megabytes you can attach them directly to your post.
