This year will see the 4th Annual ION Autonomous Lawnmower Competition organized by the Wright State University of Dayton, Ohio.
This event will take place from May 31 through June 2, 2007.
See www.AutoMow.com (http://www.AutoMow.com)
The purpose of the competition is for universities and colleges to design and operate an autonomous unmanned lawnmower using the art and science of navigation to rapidly and accurately mow a field of grass.
Unfortunatly, I GreenRbot will not be ready to compete, moreover from France it's a bit far for a contest.
If other european roboteers are interested, I'm ready to organise some kind of European Robot Lawnmower Contest, maybe next year.
