Nice tracks. Are they available somewhere or did you build them?

Those are the standard Vex tank treads (http://www.vexlabs.com/vex-robotics-tank-tread-kit.shtml). They are great treads and easy to work with, however, they are made from a fairly hard plastic and thus have traction problems on harder surfaces. Probably easily overcome with some ingenuity!

EDIT: Doh! Forgot to mention the bot... Great idea using the larger all terrain wheels. Haven't seen them used with the tracks before. Thanks for the idea!

uh..thanks...I needed the extra clearance for getting around under the house...it won't climb steps, but will get over ridges & dips....running it around the back yard it seems to work okay...the track guides were added to insure the tracks stay on the larger wheels...that was the only modifications made to the original design...now, to find a dependable wireless camera and some LED lights....
