Im new to robotics and have been playing around with some digital servos (Hitec 5645) lately for a new project im working on.

Turns out that these servos dont have enough torque for what im looking to do so my attention turned to the HSR-5995TG. Unfortunately, these babies require much more amps that my servo controller (phidget 4servo controller) can handle.

So ive looked around the net and found this ... http://www.servocity.com/html/servo_power_boards.html

It looks like this servo power board should do the trick... just plug in the servos and connect the other side to the controller.

The only problem is that this looks like its meant to be hooked up to a battery pack of some sort.

The controller i was using had a female dc adapter plug on it. I would like to power the servos using this servo board using the same dc adapter method.

What do i have to do to make something like this happen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
