Airplane trip with your robot?

It looks like I will fly south west to San Francisco for the Robot games. Will I have any trouble bring the robot with me as carry on luggage? It will be in one of those metal camera cases / brief cases.

Hmm, I would call ahead and get it approved Just in case, They should take you in a back room and inspect it. Well thats what they did to me.
