Dos any one know where I can get plans on how to build the ROBO-ONE Eagle course? I have seen pictures but have no idea of it's measurements? I would like to try to build one in my garage.

Gort,

Sounds great. I wish I had the space.

Do you want to build one just for personal use, or to prepare for a competition?

The reason I ask is that the actual course used has changed over time. The ROBO-ONE type events at RoboGames in San Francisco are based on the individual Japanese challenges from about a little over two years ago, while the Japanese courses have continued to evolve.

For example, the door opening and stair climbing used to be separate events, but were combined into the Eagle for the ROBO-ONE Special competition here last August. Also, the bar used to be at an angle so that the robots could slide down it on a diagonal, but now it's perfectly horizontal so they have to swing back and forth to get across it.
