"JERUSALEM - An Israeli defence firm on Thursday unveiled a portable robot billed as being capable of entering most combat zones alone and engaging enemies with an onboard armoury that includes a machine-pistol and grenades.


The VIPeR, roughly the size of a small television, was invented as part of Israel's efforts to develop weaponry that could reduce the risks to its forces from hand-to-hand fighting against Palestinian or Lebanese Hezbolla guerrillas."

A little late on my part but I just wanted to say that I love it, it looks great and of course, go figure, leave it to Israel to come up with a combat bot like this that's actually reasonably useable. Our own combat bots are great, but they're large, heavy, and made for open-area combat more than close up like these little monsters.

I think I know what I'll ask Santa Clause for...jk.
