Awseum bot help?

Howdy!

I know this question has been posed already but I would like some guidance based upon my experience and what I am wanting to do. Thank you in advance!

I am new to robotics but I have a strong technical background (programmer and avid R/C aircraft/Heli.

This will be my first bot by the way. I am desirous of a biped but I would like to have the ability to build multiple bots from the same kit (or a few extra parts for mods). I understand there may not be 1 bot to satisfy all functionality desired but trying to get best fit. Cost up to $1500

Functions/Wants

Biped and/or wheel
Build different bots from same kit (and xtra parts as needed)
pc controllable if possible
Compatible with Robotic Studio if possible
Remote video (wired or wireless)
capable of grasping

Any suggestion are greatly appreciated!!!

I am sure most would recommend Robotis's Bioloid for most of the reasons above. I know at the moment there is no grippers or remote camara available in the Comprehensive kit but when the Expert kit hits the shelfs then they might be available as add ons. You could always make your own camara and grippers. :)
