I would like to encourage anyone to that has a means of advertising such as another forum or any other way to help get the word out to do their part to help this hobby grow. I think that most everyone would agree that the more, the better.

I have pesonally attached a link to this site on another forum that I frequent as a signature.

If you put the link on forums alot you might get marked as a spamer, and be ban from thows sites. I just wanted to tell so, we do not lose you.

No, I'm not just going on random forums to do it. One particular forum I'm talking about, I've been going to for several years. The link appears at the bottom of my posts on every post I make as a signature regardless of what I'm talking about. Though I haven't checked, I assume this forum has the signature option?

I'm just saying, everything that everyone can do to get the word out would be good to make this forum a little more active. I'm sure that there are a lot of robot enthusiasts out there that don't know this forum exists. And who knows, you might introduce it to someone new such I was by Robot Magazine.

Hi,
That sounds like a good thing to do! I thought you were just going to random forums and doing it:confused: . Yha you can have a signature on this forum. To add one go under "Private Messages" (in the upper right hand side) and then click "edt signature. The forum can be slow at times, but theres only a few good robot forums out there, so its beter then nothing.

Thanks,

Yeah, I'm sure the forum will grow over time as well as the hobby. Having a magazine such as Robot Magazine will help promote the hobby. Though I've always had a casual interest in Robots, finding the magazine has really excelerated my interest. So I'm an example of what having a good magazine on the market can do.
