RoboGames 2007

Hi,
I was wondering who is going to RoboGames 2007, and with what robots? I might go with a nonstock Manoi, a 1lb combat robot, some Vex stuff, a Lego Mindstorms RCX robot, and some thing else that I do not know what yet! So if you go I might see you there!

So what is the event like? In the pictures their is a full size R2-D2 and other stuff from StarWars (Did thay just see a party and came (in peace I hope), or did Dave have them come?). Is their a radio inpound for all non2.4 radios, or not? Is it easy to get sponsors for your bots if you go?

Whats it like? Well I've never been, but according to eyewitness reports - always over 400 bots there. Mass quantities of spectators. Media everywhere. Every level of tech. Weird stuff.

My wife and I are talking about heading out there in our little camper for a week or two around the time of RoboGames.

Rumor also has it that Robot magazine might have a presence there. I also understand that there may be a contingent of ROBO-ONE enthusiasts coming all the way from Japan.

This might be a great year to attend.

Ok, I will strongly consider going now! Yha I heard that Lems going to bring 'em over! It sure would be fun going against one of the 'big guys'! It also sounds like Lem will be there. So are there companys there? If so do thay sell stuff? Or is there any thing to buy there?
