Hey Matt, that fellow should be able to do deep knee bends at record pace. Looking really good!

Harry I think your status as an Almighty Administrator is biasing your view! I can't see it either. I made the IT group that works for me get logons as mere mortals to check out complaints, since computers RESPECT admins, but HATE ordinary users! :-)
Try logging on as a guest or whatever and see?

Okay, completely took a new direction with him. Scraped the previous design and started over from scratch...

16 HSR-5990TG's, 8 HSR-8498HB's, an MR-C3024 micro controller, and the rest 100% custom parts. He's faster, stronger, and anxious to test his abilities at RoboGames '07.
Brackets and blocks consist of custom milled 5052 aluminum and delrin. The head is made up of a monkey skull that was cast in plastic resin from a silicone mold. Coyote fangs and jaw bone (also plastic) epoxied onto the skull.

Wow Matt, if looks can kill you've got a winner here. And with 16 - 5990s that guy should be able to tear phone books or crush walnuts. :) Got to say though, those two eye sockets look like they're just crying for a couple of blue or red LEDs but I suspect you're getting pretty short on I/O on that board.
Events have conspired to keep me away from SF again this year but I'll be checking up on whats happened wherever possible. Good luck in SF!

Thanks for the support.
:D I know what you mean... those sockets are begging for some LED's! At this point however, cosmetics have to come last. I'm banking as many moves as possible before the games.
Events? I won't ask. Bummer you won't be there though. There'll be plenty of us documenting the event as it unfolds... so it'll be almost like being there ;)
It looked even better in person.

Hello,
Do you make a version of this robot for sale. I am working on buying a robonova, then some grippers and double knees that you sell- but basically this is just the robot that you made afterward anyways.
