Anyone have any information on this? I heard Basic Stamp Controllers are the easiest to work with. I recently got a book on interfacing with a C/C++ 68HC12 and was wondering if anyone with experience on robo-one or in general could recommend how to get into actual interfacing with servos / programming them. I'm guessing a lot of knowledge of programming + interfacing is required. If anyone could lay down the required knowledge or tips to learning this thanks.

I'm planning on at least learning how to program a microcontroller/computer this summer and working on at least a psuedo robo-one project.

Also being a complete newbie in practical projects to create the brackets etc. for servos and the frame do you have to go to a machine shop etc?

The upcoming Robot issue should have an article on building a six servo humanoid from scratch. Sample C code to provide a simple gait will also be available.

Sounds good

eh something about robo-one makes it really captivating :) Maybe it is the challenge itself but I definately have to make a custom one.
